February 25, 2002	Explore the Possibilities Online Excellence Award Presented by Susan Niven, DTM CSP, by the power vested in her by absolutely no one at all! Here is of Susan's narrative, "As I surfed around the site, some of the features that particularly impressed me were: a.. the impressive list of resources/links that you have provided for D30 members and other site visitors b.. the affiliation with Amazon.com to bring some relevant books to members' attention AND generate some revenue for the District! VERY cool !!!! c.. the "Find a Club" section ... organized in a way that is user friendly for potential members... d.. the testimonials from local people - with effective use of "sound bytes" (and some fun interjections from you - e.g. "he got the job!") e.. Dan Abraham's wonderful speech on the benefits of Toastmasters... available right from your home page, for potential members to listen to while they are surfing around the site. Fantastic !!!! (Which is what I did too, by the way ... listened & surfed!) f.. The photo album was offline (message said that the host wasdoing some system upgrades or something like that ...) but I saw Nicky Jurd'scomment about it ... and if Nicky is impressed, then it must be good... g.. A very user friendly Guest Book!... h.. And a generally good feeling about the site ... easy on the eyes, and easy to navigate."
